Session 5.0
Here the speakers are:

2. Thirunageshwaran DB2 UG vice chairman.
This session was the last of the sessions which we have conducted. In this session the last part of the planning session was taken and along with it we discussed the overall sessions which we conducted to them. It was a great day and nearly 78 students attended this session and it was a happy ending for our scheduled sessions but we will be continuing our duties and soon we will with new set of works.

FEEDBACK:
A student giving feedback about our session he told that he had learnt a lot in these sessions which was conducted by us and he said he will be looking forward for the next set of sessions to be conducted.
A Special Guest:
Mrs.VASUMATHI.A.M IT hod and our in charge for conducting the activities, she facilitate the crowd at the last day of the session. She told the students about the various technologies in IBM and especially DB2 and she is the one who brought us the IBM Center Of Excellence to our college and In charge for all activities which we conduct for the students as a part of IBM DB2 student Ambassador duties.

IBM DB2 STUDENT AMBASSADOR REPORT
Session 4.0:
In this session the speakers are:
1. AVENASH.M.G. IBM DB2 STUDENT AMBASSADOR,
2. VAISHNAVI.V IBM DB2 STUDENT AMBASSADOR,
3. THIRUNAGESWARAN.V DB2 UG VICE CHAIRMAN.
After the greatest session of all, the session 3.0 by our Raguveer babu, the continuation of planning section was taken in this session. Here in depth concepts about the planning section was taken to the students and here the students was eager to know about the client server interaction and we explained them it .And this session continued till an hour where we were able to deliver them the full concepts about planning section so that they can learn for their 000-730. And also the next batch of students for the IBM COE was accompanied for the Hands on lab session.
This was the busiest session of all the sessions nearly 120 students came for this session and every one had their own sessions so we feel sorry for not taking the snaps of this session.
Feedbacks: Every student came with their own feed backs because this was the big session and students told us that “you are doing a great job seniors” this was the common word which they told in feedback. We IBM student ambassadors and our team felt very happy in hearing this word but unfortunately we are sorry for not taking the snaps of the session, so please consider our report sir.

This session was the greatest and we would like to say the gem of all sessions we took because its Mr.Raguveer Babu our IBM Information Champion, mentor for us and to the first our senior. Delivered the lucid sessions on TGMC and about XML his presence gave us a strong confidence that our students will be benefited the more. This session went for 2 hours and we all enjoyed his session with eager and interest.

Session 2.0
In this session the speakers are:
1.V.Vaishnavi IBM STUDENT AMBASSADOR,

The first session was taken by Thirunageswaran it includes the planning session of the exam 000-730. Here the students learned the basic ideas about how the planning session was enqueued. In this session the students gathered knowledge about the various DB2 which are available. The students were fascinated with every slide which we taught to them. We also explained about them the DB2 express 9.5 with which they are going to start their TGMC project, it was a two way benefiting session where they learned for 000-730 and also for their TGMC project.
After a one hour session we just showed them the videos of the IBM DB2 every place edition. And the crowd sounded wow! They were amused by the video which we showed to them.

Simultaneously a number of students were given hands on lab in the IBM Center of Excellence of our college:
There the speakers were:
1.M.G.Avenash IBM DB2 Ambassador of KLNCIT,
2.V.Vaishnavi IBM DB2 Ambassador of KLNCIT.
Session 2.1
Here this session was dedicated for lab. We taught the students how to install DB2 into their systems practically. It was followed by introduction of DBMS and its concepts.
The DB2 environment was explained to them clearly and we told them the purpose of DB2 and we showed various functionalities of DB2. After this brief introduction of DB2 we guided them to create a manual database using control center. Latter we taught the students how to create a table and insert the record. This was done very interactively with the students and they benefited more. At the end of the session everyone learnt the basic idea about the database and the students got a clear picture about the database.

FEEDBACKS:
Both the sessions received a positive feed backs nearly 110 students attended (combined: IBM COE& Lecture hall). And everybody went with a smile that they had explored the DB2 it was very great day them and for us too.

A brief description on ACID properties

This is the first session for the DB2 user group community of KLNCIT, myself AVENASH M.G. a DB2 student ambassador of KLNCIT.
In this session the main concepts of the DBMS were taught to the students, so as they could lucidly understand the various concepts in the DB2 which mainly perpetuates throughout it. The basic idea behind the DBMS were taught, like we took the concept of Discrete mathematics and related and showed how it works (UNION, INTERSECTION etc.,). Students’ really found it very interesting.
After this we gave an exact definition of DBMS which helped them to draw a picture how a database will be this was done very interactively. These were followed by the explaining ACID properties and debriefing about the DDL, DML and DCL commands , the laboratory session is be taken on 22/9/09 Tuesday. The session was for 1 hour but it went like an aero plane journey full of fascinations.
